I’d go back and do exactly what I did as a complete beginner… 1️⃣ Pick ONE platform. Instagram or TikTok. I’d choose one and focus on learning how to create content that reaches the right people. 2️⃣ Learn a skill that can make money. For me, that was digital marketing + selling digital products. No stock. No packing orders. No huge start-up costs. And something I could learn from my phone around being a mum. 3️⃣ Start with products already created. I wouldn’t spend months creating the “perfect” product. I’d use done-for-you digital products I had the rights to resell while I learned. 4️⃣ Set up a simple online store. Somewhere people can see what I offer, purchase and automatically receive their product — without me manually doing anything. 5️⃣ Post consistently. I’d aim for one piece of content a day and use the spare pockets of time I had to make it happen.
