Didn’t even see the first video but everything he said in this one is 100% correct, been doing this 35 years. No way would I ever think that wire can be extended in a junction box. Would never eliminate a switch either.

thats when you just cut a hole to see wire direction. and then. move the box up or left or right a foot. what ever way the wire is going. and then. the old hole. is a cut in box with a blank cover that is just empty. paint it to match. done deal.
