There was a man who was stopped and interviewed on the streets of the UK a few years back and he said something similar. He said that he with many others fled Iran in 1979 and he was terrified at the state of the UK as the tension in the UK currently resembles that of Iran in the early to mid 70s right before the Islamists took over. He also said he was scared enough that he may have to even flee the UK for the same reason.
