Salele Danfulani :
For a long time, I thought life was mainly about survival. Go to school. Get a job. Earn money. Pay bills. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. Then I began creating wealth. Not simply earning more money, but developing the ability to create value, solve problems, build things, make decisions, take risks, and turn ideas into something useful. That changed how I saw life. I began to understand that wealth is not the final destination. It is a form of capacity. When you have knowledge, skills, capital, and freedom, your choices expand. Your thinking becomes wider. You can invest in education. Create employment. Support people. Build institutions. Solve problems. Fund ideas. Improve your environment. I realized that much of what humanity calls progress came from people who refused to spend their entire lives solving only their own survival problems. They built. They created. They improved. They left something behind. That is what wealth creation taught me about purpose. The point is not merely to have more. The point is to become capable of doing more. Survival asks, “How do I get through today?” Purpose asks, “What can I build with the life I have?” For me, wealth creation became more than a financial pursuit. It became a way of expanding what I could think, choose, create, and contribute. That is when life began to feel less like existence and more like responsibility.
