i saved quite a bit on my integrated appliances by getting graded ones that had scratches or dents on the integrated (ie hidden) sides or damaged packaging! AO has an outlet on eBay for these and there’s also ElekDirect and other websites. I also trawled the internet for ages - put the model number of the appliances you want into google shopping and you can see who is selling at the cheapest price, discount codes etc

When we discussing drawer weights the sales guy climbed into a drawer. No sir, I do not need my pan drawer to be able to hold a 90kg man. I don’t plan on storing people, lower the price pls.

If you have a John Lewis store with a home department, have a look for customer returns or cancelled orders. I got my oven, extractor & freezer all Neff for £700

It wasn’t for out kitchen but for our bathroom and the biggest way to keep cost down was to use a different fitter to install it, it saved us over £6k
