Let me say to any college aged kids out there: Linemen make BANK. I work for an electric company. The highest paid person in my company is NOT the CEO. It's a Lineman.

I have a friend that was a lineman. He was working a storm several years ago that hit N. Ga. A live line was pulled and hit a cable he was working on. He was transported to Grady Hospital. He lost his leg on one side and arm on the other. He was in mid 20s and in good shape. Docs said there was some sort of number reading in his blood related to the electrocution that set medical records for anyone to have survived. He's in good spirits and doing well today, rumor is he gets half-off on shoes.
