@tahini_dirtbag: Fried fish sandwich ‼️ Shokupan, tartar sauce, romaine, panko crusted cod, and a healthy squeeze of lemon. Kind of like a bougie fishfinger sandwich - and if you aren't arsed to bread/fry your own fish, frozen breaded cod filets or fishfingers are the perfect easy substitution. Heavily inspired by a photo Jackson Boxer posted a couple of years ago, which evidently gave me enough fomo to fuel recreations even now. As I said, I typically don't use a recipe when I make tartar sauce, but the above is roughly as follows: - 2 tbsp crème fraîche - 2 tbsp kewpie - 1/2 shallot, brunoised - 1 small bunch of chives, chopped - 1 small bunch tarragon, chopped - 3-4 small cornichons, chopped (plus a splash of pickle juice) - Lemon zest and a squeeze of juice - Freshly grated horseradish - Salt, black pepper I forgot to add chopped dill and chopped capers, and it was very delicious in spite of this - but feel free to add them in!
