Same with me. I was born 1988 got my Mechanical fitter apprenticeship 2016, when I was about to be appointed Sasol had to restructure, I was moved to Rigging department and start all over again 😔 (Rigging apprenticeship). 6 years of training🙉 I should went varsity 😏

I know a friend at SAB. Imagine being 28 years of age and clearing 60k after deductions for Electrical engineering thats a proper salary. The overtime makes a massive difference

Yes!! Some people work in companies as Assistant Artisans on a permanent basis, even without technical studies. The company then sends them to college and provides them with an apprenticeship.
