Thats the reason why you never open port 22 over the public. Use something like cloudflare tunnels for public access but keep your port 22 in your own walls 🤣

no one will be on my server .. I have a double brigded firewall.. for the inner and outer perimiter.. even the DMZ is fully protected with intrussion detection.. nothing goes unnoticed... and if needed there's a kill switch..

Simple, don't expose ports to the internet, doesn't solve everything but prevents most attacks, use a mesh VPN like Tailscale if you want simple remote access

Great information. After hackers compromise your server, the best thing is to take a database backup, spin up another server, and migrate. Ensure you fix the vulnerability in the new server before going live.
