Just get a rescue. All our dogs have been mixed breeds and have been happy and healthy and wonderful pups.

I have a random poodle mix. Not my 1st dog. WAY easier to train than my previous 3 dogs, which were a Beagle, Siberian Husky, and black lab (all were adopted, just like my poodle mix). 4 very different dogs, somehow the poodle mix is easier than the lab…which is weird.

I have a dachshund as a first time pet owner (on my own) I did and still do plenty of research but I have definitely struck gold with my girl, I’ll have a million of her in a heart beat🤍

And yet my first dog was a dachshund that we had for 16 years up until about ten days ago when we had to put her down. She was probably the easiest dog I’ve ever been around.😂

Hiya, when would you recommend first bathing your puppy when you bring them home? First few days or a give it a week or so? Also what products are best to use. I’m getting a cocker spaniel so worried about his ears getting wet/infected xx

First dog a yorkie not recommended as a first time dog but I had no issues now have a cockapoo again no issues it depends if you have the time for these breeds and want to put the effort in some people have these breeds and have no issues as a first dog and some do have issues , using a blanket approach for deciding which dogs are suitable as first dogs is no use as every dog and owner circumstances are different just my opinion

Have both a WL golden and a WL lab puppy and I swear the WL golden was so much trickier! She’s still a bit of a nightmare at 7 😂
