You may not control the wind. But with Allah’s help, you can decide whether the trial takes you away from Him — or carries you closer to Him. May Allah make our hardships a means of purification, strength, wisdom and nearness to Him. May He soften our hearts without weakening us, strengthen us without hardening us, and grant us beautiful patience through every test and grant us ease upon ease. Ameen.
