I my country we have hospitals of different levels to avoid these waits. We still wait, but we know better than going to a hospital level 3 for a cramp, flu or minor injury.

As a no emergency I once waited for over 8 hours 😅 Sure, I didn't have to donate my kidney after to pay for the care, but guy should try visiting universal health care at least once. An hour is just nothing.

In Canada I had a literal bleeding wound on my head which qualified as an emergency and I waited around an hour. So non emergency has nothing to complain about if they wait awhile.

So, I still did not find what he did wrong tho. He did everything by the book. They are the wrong one, especially treating him badly. without ppl like him, the waiting time for getting treatment would be hours and nurses and hospitals would give zero shit.

my favorite time in the ICU was when I had a hernia from picking my child out of his carseat, drove home and after hours of laying down couldnt move. had to call an ambulance. they had me sit in a wheelchair for 4 hours, took pictures. told me it was a hernia and made me walk home
