More details on this below and on my latest video: 01 - Once a month, I go through and sort all my media using an app called Slidebox. I organize everything into albums, and delete any duplicates or unusable files. 02 - I never actually delete old media I've used, because I'm someone who likes to reuse and repurpose. So every quarter, anything I'm not actively using week to week gets offloaded to Dropbox and my hard drives so that it's not permanently gone, just off my phone. (Unpopular move: I keep iCloud Photo Sync off - more on that in my last reel 👀) 03 - Client and brand campaign work plays by different rules for me. That media, both raw and edited, gets backed up immediately on Dropbox and my hard drives. Only when the post is live, do I remove it from my phone. 04 - The last step is heading into my mobile editing apps: I clear the cache and delete finished projects, but I always keep a clean edited version (no music or titles) so I can easily repost or repurpose down the line. #digitalorganization #contentcreatortips #contentcreatortips #phoneorganization #phonetips
