Not today it didn’t, today I choose recovery, I accept I’m powerless over my addiction, it was never about gambling, it was chasing a feeling and repeating automatically, I’ve lost 40 yrs to this insidious addiction, not one more fucking day ❤️❤️❤️

Gambling stole 20 years of happiness and eventually drove me to suicide. Luckily I was found, rescued and survived. Day 36... Just for today, I will not gamble ❤️

The Former Gambler :
I lost all the trust I had in myself, knowing I was always 1 bad day away from losing everything. Used gambling as a distraction from parts of life I wasn’t happy with rather than addressing my problems. Once you’re free from gambling you can start working on yourself and trust yourself again🙏
