@bel_essex: Surely I’m not the only one… 😂 Why is it SO common for people to try and parent over the top of you when you’re literally standing right there handling it? And half the time it’s people who genuinely have no right to be doing it. 🫠 If I tell my kids no, they might have a moment. They might whinge. They might crack it. They’ll be fine. I don’t need someone swooping in to override me, soften it, explain it differently or try to “fix” the situation. I swear I’ve said “it’s all good, I’ve got it” more times lately than I can count 😂 Like… surely this is common sense? Politely, fck off and let me parent my own kids 😂 If you want it slightly more shareable/less aggressive at the end, you could swap the last line for: Respectfully… I’ve got it 😂
