When I asked him to split the prenatal appts. he was dumbfounded, claiming they were for me. I said why would I have needed to go if I weren't pregnant? Also, they are making sure the baby is healthy.

I remember asking my my daughter’s father for some words of encouragement while on the way to be induced. He got angry and yelled at me “what the fuck do you want me to say? People do this all day every day, if you’re scared that’s your problem”

The irony of this is that under Sharia, men are responsible for the health and maintenance of a woman for the first two years of the child’s life. This includes healthcare, nutrition, bills, all of it for her and the child even if they’re divorced. If they’re married he’s responsible for all of it all the time.

My mom said when she was in labor, rather than dropping her off at the ER entrance and then going to park the car, my father parked in the farthest parking spot from the ER and made my mom walk to the reception area. He said didn’t want his truck to get scratched

My ex always made me pay the kids’ medical bills and until our twins turned a year old (our son was four) I was also carrying their insurance as well. It was so frustrating. But it was so long ago that I didn’t have anyone to tell me what a jerk he was. Just perfume commercials telling me women should do everything.

When I brought up how bad I was feeling, a couple days before my c section, my ex said, don’t you have any friends you can talk to about this. When he stopped visitation, with my daughter. I was actually relieved.

I brought up with my ex that he didn't say thank you or get flowers after 14 hours of labour and a emergency c section. I instead came home to a messy house he had been gaming in for 3 days. He said "why would I think you YOU had to do it" 😐

apparently the only reason women don't get proper anaesthesia is because men thought God thought women should suffer. so there's no reason not to knock you out and have you have it without the whole thing of pushing and stuff. they couldn't dose you up and you would probably have an easier pregnancy because your body is more relaxed and if any issues can go into surgery if needed way less horrible. having a baby makes you disabled. think about what happens to your body
