The classic recipe takes under 20 minutes, making it perfect for busy weeknights or a quick solo meal Recipe: • 1 chicken thigh, cut into 1" cubes and marinated in 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp sake & pepper, rested 10 min • ½ onion, sliced into strips • Sauce: ¼ tsp dashi powder + 5 Tbsp water + 1.5 Tbsp soy sauce + 1.5 Tbsp mirin + 1 tsp sugar • 1 green onion, sliced • 2 eggs, lightly beaten • Steamed rice, for serving 1. Dissolve dashi in water, then add soy, mirin & sugar; bring to a simmer. 2. Add onion strips, cook until soft. 3. Stir in chicken and cook 2 min then flip. Add in your green onion 4.
