Wow. UK here and I get 30 days annual leave, my birthday off, my wife’s birthday off, 3 days at Christmas and 8 bank holidays.

yes in uk the company i work for, has an employee own holiday booking system..we can come in and even book the last hour off if its green, no approval needed and can book same day plus 32 working days off a year

In Denmark we have 5 weeks paid vacation. And a 6’th if we want it. Many want the 6’th week as paid (January m/febrary) year after.

This really seems like a Korean thing 😳 because in the UK we usually get about 28/30 days of annual leave, not even counting bank holidays & if you don’t take them, you literally lose them.

In Sweden some of us have flex. I have core working hours between 9-15.30 what I do the rest of time the company does not care about. as long as my hours amounts to 40hrs/week... over the year!! so I can work 30hrs one week and 50 another.

26 paid days in Poland and if you don't go, HR force you to go. No money instead unless you change jobs

Norway has 5 weeks holiday per year + bank holidays. You can take more unpaid days off if you want. We also work 08:00-16:00. If you work overtime you get paid extra or you can take time off.
