she was ascending to become Fuli, but since she locked herself in the loop to prevent the reemergence of Irontomb, the end of the universe was averted so Fuli had no reason to ascend anymore to recreate it she didn't mimic Fuli's gaze, she was ascending as Fuli and the reason Fuli's gaze was replaced by Cyrene is because by locking herself in Amphoreus' causality, she basically rejected the future where she became Fuli sorry for the yapatron I just love Cyrene so much 💔
