Perhaps read the history before producing a video. The famine was caused by a cyclone in 1942 which flooded paddy fields with seawater. Local Indian administrators failed to notify national government. There was no food available that could be shipped in any useful timescale. Correspondence is available to view showing Churchills attempts to obtain food from Australia and America, but the Japanese controlled the seas and had sunk over half the allied merchant ships. No food was diverted to the army, they had their own rations and didn’t need rice.
