mariana’s subs. or even krispy kreme. i grew up only about an hour and a half from where you guys live and these fundraisers were GOLD. they sell themselves and we always did pretty good with it

Walk-a-thon. Several of us strongly advocated against selling stuff and replace it with this. My youngest is 25 and the school is still doing it!

As a teacher my two favorite fundraisers we do are tat a teacher - kids by temporary tattoos and at the end of the fundraiser they get put on teachers and our water balloon fundraiser. Kids pay $1 per water balloon and then get to throw them at their teachers. (We choose if we participate). We make over $6,000 on the water balloons every year.

one of the elementary schools in our district auctioned off a vip pick up/drop off parking spot and it sold for several thousand dollars 😅 this year they’re doing one for each month 😂

My mom ran a lollipop tree @ the bookfair and bought books from teacher wishlists at the end. You pay, pick a lollipop from the display, and if it had a colored bottom, you would win the matching prize (poster, eraser, etc)

I was the daughter of a PTA VP and it was so amazing! The other girls who’s moms were officers are still some of my closest friends at 24 years old🥰 and being a PTA kid has so many perks lol

my mom would organize a race for education it was a walk around the neighborhood and parents would donate for their child’s class to win!! 1st place was something like pizza party and homework passes 2nd was popcorn party 3rd was free rita’s it was always the best day of the year we did the walk in fall and it was always cool because older kids would walk further than the littles!!

bingo night was always a big fundraiser for one of the schools I worked for. it always racked in a ton of support! (we also fed them at any night time event which usually helped)

this is my first year being the pta/pa president after many years of volunteer in my daughter school, she's so happy because she can sell her bracelets there and make some donations to the association. I'm looking for some ideas that I need to discuss with the principal and hopefully she approves them. 🥰
