Hayden Panettiere’s story is haunting because so many women recognize the archetype. Trauma. Abuse. Addiction. Becoming attached to someone who is hurting you while simultaneously believing they are the person who loves you most. Losing pieces of yourself trying to survive the relationship. From a spiritual perspective, I think of this as life-force depletion. You keep pouring energy into a person, a trauma bond, an addiction, or a relationship that continually takes from you until there is almost nothing left for your own life. And that is the danger of remaining unconscious inside a pattern. You can call someone your soulmate. You can believe the connection is destined. You can understand their wounds. You can love them with your entire heart. And they can still be destroying you. Love does not require you to disappear. Compassion does not require you to sacrifice yourself. And understanding someone’s trauma does not mean you have to remain inside the consequences of it. At some point, healing has to reach the root. The original wound. The attachment. The addiction. The belief that pain and love belong together. Otherwise the cycle keeps repeating. But this is what I want anyone living this story to know: Healing is possible. Wholeness is possible. Freedom is possible. You are allowed to break the archetype. You are allowed to choose a different ending. If you recognize yourself in this pattern and you’re ready to understand what keeps pulling you back into it, visit the link in my bio and explore the ways you can work with me. #TraumaBond #Heartbreak #AttachmentStyle #HealingJourney #InnerWork
