They also need kindness, but don't mistaken it for grace, excusing, forgiving, encouraging, or support. you can still choose to be kind to people even if your beliefs don't align with theirs.

Absolutely not. I’ve learned the hard way that giving kindness to the wrong people doesn't change them, it just drains you. A rough past isn't an excuse to treat people badly. Kind people deserve boundaries and respect, not to be taken advantage of.
