@praycoapp: I get asked this a lot, and it's a fair question: if God already knows what I need before I even ask, why should I pray? Matthew 6:8 says it clearly: He knows what you need before you even ask. So why pray? The answer isn't to teach Him something He doesn't know, but to build a real relationship with Him. It's kind of like a conversation between a parent and their child: the parent often knows what the child needs before they even ask, but still waits for the child to come talk to them, because that exchange itself is what builds the relationship, not just getting an answer.
