@tylerpath: Here's how to know when to add weight on your lifts to continue progressing. A lot of people find themselves in the dilemma where they either increase the weight but do fewer reps or stay with the same weight and match their target rep. The solution: have a rep range and adopt the progression scheme mentioned #fyp #Fitness #gym #bodybuilding
I can do 12 reps of a certain weight. Add 5 pounds and can’t even get even get 3 reps out of it

question sir, if I able lift 12 reps, but when I add weight I only lift 6 reps on 1 set. let's say which is better reps,,, 12 - 12 - 12 or 6 - 5 - 4 but this is guaranteed with clean form

have a rep range, do weight where you only get the bottom of the rep range, do that weight until you get the top of the range and then increase weight

what about progressive sets? eg - 30lbs for 12, 35 for 8-10, 40 for 6-8.

I do progressive overload. I keep adding 5kg and stop at a weight where I can get at least 5 reps in
