the thing that I'll always circle back around to as a sort of unfortunate truth is that a lot of professional athletes are either stupid or an educated. unfortunately they're identified at a young age to have this potential and they're basically told "yeah fuck School and class and all that shit, you're going to go to the league." and then they stop learning. for some it is legitimately at like 6th or 7th grade.

There are retired NFL players, HOFers that won't let their children or grandchildren play football. The Guardian caps look stupid but the NFL absolutely should have made huge efforts to encourage players to use them or even require them.
