It's hypocritical to say that at 21 a girl can smoke cigarettes, vape, smoke pot, drink, get tattoos or permanently altering surgeries... But isn't mature enough or capable of deciding who she wants to marry simply because he's older than her. And typically the older man is labeled predator or pdf file, even if she is the one who pursued him. The same people who condemn age gaps will simultaneously say "my body my choice" and defend the right to permanently altering gender surgeries. The real issue is within the people who think they have the right to decide the appropriate age of the relationship of other fully grown, fully mature consenting adults.

Age is not the cause of divorces. The absence of God is the cause. God is the Chief Architect of marriage, without Him marriages may crumble. And again, age does not always mean maturity. 12 to 25 years is too wide a gap.
