I use CVS Minute Clinic. With my insurance I have a $0 copay for telehealth - they don't pay for my medicine anymore so it's one way I've kept costs down. At each appointment I have a NP, we discuss current numbers and metrics, goals, tips. One trick that I learned early is that you might get a different provider with each visit. With my consultation, I told my girl that I thought I would be more successful if I had a consistent provider. So we managed that by setting the next appointment before we finish the call. I had to switch NP's at one point and this one gave me her work cell and I can text her if I need an appt. My Rx goes to Lilly Direct.

I’m only 1 week into my journey but I’m using my primary care doctor who I’ve been with for almost 15 years and knows my body/health and Lilly Direct for the meds. They may be a bit pricey but I wanted peace of mind knowing that what I’m putting into my body is really what it is supposed to be. I’ve heard too many stories about compounded medications being contaminated or the wrong strengths or even the wrong/no medication to want to take the risk myself.

Physically going to my primary care doctor.. $175 for my first month.. $75 for refill.. the only reason my insurance covered was my bmi and sleep apnea. I was on compounded from a Telehealth company and paying $195/month!

I use Mochi to do my prior authorization because my doctor’s office can never get it to go through. Mochi does it and it goes right through. I love my doctor. I see her via video call. I pay 49 a month for the membership but you do have to pay a year upfront for that price. Honestly tho if my insurance didn’t cover it I wouldn’t use them. I would go gimmecare. Just a side note I’ve been on Zepbound and compound and can’t tell a difference.

I do Lily Direct (prescribed from my dr); it’s $$$ but I trust it. I’m hesitant about compounded and overall safety. Interested in other’s experiences.

I have been using Eli Lilly direct through Weight Watchers but it’s $450 a month plus the fee for Weight Watchers so I’m thinking about trying Lavendar Sky. I really need to get it to be less expensive but I am concerned about going to compound versus namebrand and the effectiveness of it.
