I'm a music producer. There are a lot of apps, plugins and libraries that can only be installed in the internal drive and take up a lot of storage. 256 is bad, even 512 is not great. I'm considering 1tb but the upgrade is $500 In a $900 base model. Kind of crazy.

I found for the price difference purchasing all the iCloud storage is worth it. It all runs off the cloud.
