@itsestelle.e: I used have this weird fear, I used to worry that I would be with someone who wouldn’t really make an effort to understand some parts of my cultures, because I’ve seen it happen in my own family, and it scared me a little. So watching Guillermo try to speak Romanian with my grandma makes me so emotional 🥹 He doesn’t need to. He could easily just let me translate everything. But every time we come back, he remembers a few more words, asks how to say things and tries to talk to her. And I know it sounds like such a small thing but I'm happy I'm with someone who cared enough to try. 🤍
