This hit me so hard because I experienced something similar in school. 😭 During my second-semester holiday, before I resumed 300 level, my two roommates packed out without telling me. We were three, and I was especially close to one of them because her mum trusted me to look after her because of her eyesight. I genuinely cared about her and would advise her whenever I felt she was going off track. She started going to clubs and stopped taking school seriously, and I guess she felt I would tell her mum, so she and my other roommate left together without saying a word to me. 💔 The painful part was that our rent was ₦400k and was due just two weeks after I resumed. My parents were already struggling to contribute my own share monthly, so having to deal with that unexpectedly was really painful. I wasn't angry that they left; it was the fact that they left without even telling me that really broke me. And they know it won't be easy for me to find roommates at the moment, and am still going for siwes for good 6 month out of the one year rent, omoh it pained me because I was caught unaware, both of them did not have not use a year together and they fought to the extent of fighting on the road omoh, I know I will do story time about this soon inshallah 🙏🙏

you were thinking comment section will side you 😂😂😂 ,me too I packed out of my formal house because of roommate!!! similar problem too but mine is just that I rented the house and bought all the property ooo then I accomdated her and we spilted the bill but then again no be me una go poison I carried my things after 7 months and left the remaining rent for her and ran for my dare life 😂😂 I still got new space and stupid me accomdated another course mate that turned to roommate and guess what? she also wanted me to leave my own house but this time I was wiser ,I refunded her and she left !!! I'm done abeg . roommate my ass
