lol we broke a ton of rules. We won’t be doing it again, so I can say that. She got to stay with her friends all the time if it was cool with her parents, we were cool with it. We never got approval from the agency for anything.

Never say never. One of my kids from Italy ended up staying for 6 years. He was determined to go to college in the same town, so I helped him get an F1 visa for the local community college, and he eventually transferred from there to the local state college on a full ride scholarship for pre-med. He eventually moved to London for graduate school, but we always joked that apparently we were never going to be able to visit Venice because he’s never gonna leave. 😂 obviously, we couldn’t be much closer after so many years.
