Thank goodness they are fixing this bug. I guess the only upside is I’ve gotten quite a few refunds/free items without making the videos just because the items went out of stock or the shop got kicked off TT.

I bought stuff during a livestream last night and SUPRISE, SURPRISE … it was unchecked, but it might be because I bought multiple items. Some seem to say it toggles off if you buy more than one thing. The way they have it at checkout, aaaaaaall the way past your payment options, is sooooo sneaky.

Also, for example, I just made a video today for my favorite sunscreen from the particular shop that I’d rather get it at and I noticed after I posted the video linking it that they changed that one particular product that I love so much to both three or refundable sample so you know how that’s gonna go down on the checkout card so I deleted the video and re-edited it and typed on the screen the instructions for the refundable sample pole to be turned off so that if anyone is actually interested in the item, they know how to toggle it off. I just don’t care.

Yes! This happened to me! I bought a toothpaste from a friend and pretty sure I had clicked off refundable. It’s something ai still sell every now and then. And it came through with a message saying I was refunded a couple weeks later. 🤦🏻♀️

If all else fails and the toggle keeps being on, go ahead and cancel the purchase and or return the item whatever needs to happen and look for it through another shop right here on Tiktok shop because for one refundable sample there’s definitely more options from other stores that sell it not as a refundable sample let’s all commit to doing this until they get the picture and they fix a completely. I think it’s BS.
