i should’ve known this before tbh, when my ex and I still didn’t know each other in person, he would never actually decide to take a day to come to meet me. “it’ll be soon”, “we need to be patient”, etc. i was working from monday to saturday, 6 days a week, nonstop. one sunday i was free and decided to take that 2 hours drive to his place to finally meet in person. noticed that too late. when someone really wants something, they’ll do anything to get it.
