I have compassion for elderly when they are miserable. Many are in real physical pain. I never ran into any elderly lying to me.

Not all old people are mean. I have read that as some grow old their minds over stimulate and over exaggerate and it comes off as mean. Part is mild dementia or depression is big too.

that has never been my experience. I see younger people act this way. If you don't know them, what is it they're saying to you? Just strange older people are approaching you saying mean things to you?

My MIL says nasty things to family members and we’re told to just let it go bc she’s in her 80’s and who knows how long she will be with us- yet she’s been this way for the 15 years I’ve known her. It’s so frustrating! 😌
