The comments I have seen being made about her under the news article articles are horrific, and it goes to show that people do not understand sexual assault, the amount of comments I have seen on why did shewait so long to say something? I can only speak for myself. I can’t speak for her but a lot of people who have been raped don’t even admit it to themselves for years let alone tell other people and I’ve seen people say she’s doing it for attention she already has attention, and that’s not the kind of attention anybody would want believe me.

I was sexually assaulted by my boss at 16 (worked from 13 he was old enough to be my grandad) went straight to the police, 2 years later in court, my word against his. No support for victims 😢 We all need to speak out, sorry she wasnt support either

It’s so devastating, women take a risk with their life just reporting the abusers / grapists.. spend months years building the courage for it to be worthless… and then a target on your head from the person who has already stolen your once happy trusting and loving life from you.. it’s horrific
