@drpauljarrodfrank: A personalized cancer vaccine? It’s becoming a reality. Moderna and Merck are testing a personalized mRNA cancer vaccine for melanoma that is created using the unique genetic mutations found in a patient’s own tumor. The vaccine is combined with Keytruda to help the immune system better recognize and attack cancer cells. This could represent a major step forward in personalized cancer immunotherapy, with similar approaches now being studied across other cancers, including lung and pancreatic cancer. And this is where I think the distinction matters: real innovation comes from rigorous clinical research, not every treatment being marketed today under the banner of “longevity.” #Melanoma #CancerResearch #mRNA #CancerVaccine #Immunotherapy
