I recently found out my bf was involved in a fight that ended up killing a man. we started dating in 2025 but we lost each other, for a whole year I kept thinking about him and we finally met again and I was the happiest I’ve ever been, until he disappeared while I was on vacation and I found out everything from the news. This character means a lot to me because it really portrays how hard it is to accept that someone you love is capable of something bad, even if it doesn’t represent them. That boy was the sweetest man I knew but still, the circumstances made him do something bad. For me it’s really like grieving, I’ve been thru grief before and this is worse bc it didn’t have closure.

This is exactly how I felt when I got a call from my sister that my childhood best friend had unalived his own mother. If you grew up with him you would never think in a million years he’d commit something like that, but his circumstances and mental state took over. It was a very strange and complex grief to process, because I genuinely loved him and still can’t understand why he did what he did.
