@ibetonlosingdogs92: I never really felt like I belonged in my own home. A home is supposed to be the place where you can take off every mask where you can simply exist and still feel wanted. But I never knew what that felt like. I learned how to make myself smaller. I learned how to keep certain feelings to myself. I learned that sometimes it was easier not to need anything at all. And now I’ve grown up, but I don’t think that little version of me ever really left. I thought growing up would finally make things easier. I thought I would eventually find somewhere, or someone, that would make me feel like I belonged. Instead, I grew into someone who doesn’t know where she belongs anymore. I can be surrounded by people and still feel completely out of place. I can be somewhere familiar and still feel like I’m only passing through.#foryourpage#xzybca#relatable#targetaudience#mentalhealthmatters
