I never buy physical but I absolutely believe that having the option of buying physical media is 100% essential. It anchors prices and guarantees an open second hand market. If you lose that then you lose all consumer rights. And that’s not even discussing ownership

I think its a bit late for them to backtrack, this time next year the PS6 will be announced. If they backtrack they would need to delay it for a redesign which would let XBOX get ahead of them. they basically have a lose lose situation.

Iv already started the move back to Xbox, simply because they have decided to put the customer first. I have a series X coming in the mail and I’ll be playing gta 6 on XBOX.

Too late for me now for next gen I'm skipping to Microsoft and I've been Sony since PS1. There's no guarantee they won't just backtrack once they've got your money, the biggest lesson here is they don't care about you only your money.
