@dariusryankadem: We often see a child protecting their things and assume the lesson they need is sharing. Refusing to share doesn't make them incapable of sharing. It makes them "UNCOOPERATIVE" Would you give your car to a stranger? He wasn’t unwilling to let anyone use his scooter. He was selective about who he trusted with something that belonged to him. His willingness is based on trust and ultimately his experience. Beacause trust isn’t built through reassuring words. It’s built through evidence. When we make the decision for them, we’re not teaching sharing. We’re manufacturing generosity. I'm diving deep into sharing in my free 60 min live workshop this Saturday. You'll learn how children develop the skills to share and what you can do to support them. Click my link in bio to register for the workshop.
