I have a question, I've been in the US for 2 weeks already and I absolutely love my host family, they're wonderful (I have only host parents), but it's bery important for me to document my exchange, to make TikToks and YouTube videos, how do I tell them about it and ask if I can film in my room? I'm freaked out that it may "ruin" our relationship, and they'll look at me differentely (they like me so far, I'm pretty sure about that). In addition, they are 62, so that stresses me even more, my organization encourages us to film and post and then they recruit people for the social media team, that's another opportunity for me. Also I love to film, act and talk and I love making videos, I told my host family about it, but I'm still very scared and I don't know how to tell them. Do you have any advice? Hi, I’d love to ask about how can I convince my parents to let me go on an exchange year, because my dad is okay with it if I pay it myself but my mom is completely against it (she told me she love me that much she won’t let me go even if I pay for it myself, I’m also turning 17 soon and I know I don’t have much time left to get on exchange), do you have any ideas how to try convince her to let me go?
