@joecattt: Waymo can see where you go. Flock cameras can see where you drive. At what point does “public safety” become a private surveillance infrastructure with a business model? The ethical question isn’t whether the technology can be useful. It’s who gets access, how long the data exists, who can buy it, what happens when it’s wrong, and whether ordinary people ever meaningfully consented.
