went right down hill at lockdown after the old chef left, it used to b the best in area i ate out it since i was 10 yr old now its manky all u hears ill health stories 🤮 everyone needs to report hairs/ bugs to Food hygiene/ Environmental health. yadgars only caring about the ££ not the paying customers health as there getting away with being reported repeatedly!

omg I bought saag recently and it was out of date from there both my mum and husband fell ill. I called in and the actual chef was RUDE claimed it was meant to be sour and slammed phone down. 😳. when I get a chance I will be going in to complain 😌

govanhill is known for cockroaches. the mcdonald’s in govanhill was shut down for a week due to a cockroach and bed bug bug infestation. i think the nearby school and the kfc was fumigated as well. the whole area is bad for it

Thanks for exposing them. A few days ago, I found multiple male hairs in my food, which was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. When I called them to complain, instead of taking responsibility or even apologising, they repeatedly argued that the hair was supposedly mine and insisted that it had not come from their side. The ridiculous part is that there wasn’t even a male person around me at the time, making their excuse completely absurd. Rather than addressing a serious hygiene concern, they chose to argue with the customer and shift the blame. This is not just about finding a hair in food it is about basic food hygiene, cleanliness and how customers are treated when they raise a legitimate complaint. Their response was extremely unprofessional and only made the situation worse.

oh wow, I can't believe it's that bad, used to go there between 2004-2010, it used to be an uncle who ran it, very nice chap. but back then Govanhill was different.. more family orientated..
