I'm a senior school teacher. One day, a 17 yo made a beatiful drawing and gifted to me. I said "I'm going to keep it forever". She said "I know you teachers put all our gifts in the rubbish". I told her no, not at all. I still have that drawing, 13 years later 🥰

my daughter graduated high school in June and we went by her old daycare (with her 2 younger sisters) to speak to the teachers (the ones still there from their time there) had them ladies almost crying seeing how big they are now.

Having something so sentimental really is sweet and shows just how much time and effort was used to put into something like this… although not always possible it’s amazing when teachers/educators get recognised to that extent 🥹🫶🏻
