When he will let you, you need to take wet, wipe or a paper towel that’s a little damp and loosen up those boogers around his nose because he was in a hoarding place that could have like germs and dust and disgusting this from the old home

Fun fact… If a cat allows, you to touch its stomach in any way shape or form than that said cat trust you with its life. A cat stomach is the most vulnerable place on since most of their organs are right there. 95% of cats will not allow you to touch their stomach let alone scratch/pet that sweet sweet boy trust you with his life and that makes my heart beyond happy you guys are freaking awesome for adopting him.💯💯❤️❤️🥰🥰

Do you have a water fountain for the kitties? We got one for ours because they weren’t drinking much and especially with boys it’s important that they do. It’s really helped us, apparently cats prefer running water. The wet food is also really good for hydration which can help prevent blockages and uti’s

Veterinary/rescue professional here, you could always add water to wet food as well as offer water in its own bowl! You could also find waterless shampoo if he doesn’t let you bathe him & steer clear from Hartz products. You could also look into feliway plug ins to help with anxiety. 🫶🏻

Try catnip in water boil it like tea strain & cool. Not a lot but just enough to get the smell it may help him feel safer drinking water

My Lucy Lou started carrying my socks 🧦 when she was about 4 weeks old and she is now 5 years old and has her own “socks” which she carries up and down the stairs! I’ve had her since she was 2 weeks old and we love her ❤️❤️❤️

While it is normal for cats to have changes in their bathroom routines after trama it is not normal for male cats and can cause a lot of harm, including death. Please watch him. I would highly recommend pretty litter or something similar to help keep track.
