They didn't make you use the real medicated packing material? They sent me home from the hospital with a roll of it and then home health care wound care came daily and changed the packing and put new medicated packing in it. They measured it to know how deep it was so we knew how it was healing internally.

Congratulations on your process! Also, I'm sorry if this us a silly question, when you tuck the bandage into the wound does it hurt at all? Or is it just slightly uncomfortable. I hope it's neither, but I'm just curious about the reality of the healing process :)

Hey queen! I hope you’re recovering well. I have my ileostomy surgery in November and it’ll be temporary until after (hopefully) having kids. Surgeon said then I could go permanent or do a colectomy + reversal. Did you have a colectomy too?
