![Full Recipe↓ Day 3/100 | TONKATSU + SAUCE 🛒 INGREDIENTS: [Tonkatsu] - Pork loin: 2 pieces (~250g) - A pinch of salt - A pinch of black pepper - Egg: 1 - Flour: 4 tbsp - Panko breadcrumbs: 1.5 cups [Tonkatsu Sauce] - Ketchup: 2 tbsp - Sugar: 1/2 tbsp - Soy sauce: 2 tsp - Ground toasted sesame seeds: 1 tbsp - A pinch of black pepper 🧑🍳 METHOD: 1. Season the pork with salt and pepper 2. Spread flour and panko on two separate trays 3. Beat the egg in a bowl 3. Dip the pork into the flour and egg, then coat with panko 4. Fry at 170°C for 5-6 mins, flip, fry 1-2 more mins and drain 5. Mix all the sauce ingredients 6. Serve Tonkatsu with the sauce 💡 KEY POINTS: - If you don't have Panko breadcrumbs, you can make them in the following way: Tear one slice of sandwich bread into bite-sized pieces and pulse them in a food processor until you get your preferred crumb size.
