Thanks for sharing - I read that to apply MAC lip stains, you initially wipe the first layer off so it the results should be just the tint only. Given that, it makes sense to why the top layer didn’t wear throughout your experiment. Would be good to see how long the actual tint last for.

Lip tints (from kbeauty) are meant to be glosses that leave a tint, which is usually a very thin layer on top of the lips.. Glossy lip stains are meant to be longlasting stains that can also function as glosses! so it makes sense that those two products wear differently ❣️From what I've seen in this video, the Mac lip tint behaves like most Kbeauty lip tints for 3 times the price. I'm interested to see if at least the tint it leaves behind is more longlasting than most kbeauty lip tint

I have a Korean lipstain / gloss, I like to apply it early in my routine, after I apply my sunscreen. Then I let both sink in for a while. I do this to define my lips and hydrate. When I apply my makeup, I wipe it off and apply whatever I want, knowing I have some extra definition from the stain! :)
