From what i remember in the mini series it’s always been yellow for Georgie, red in the library and multi coloured when he’s scaring Ben in the sewers

They changed it to red half way through the film , but if you watch welcome to Derry they use the yellow and red balloons in some of you have a keen eye

Anyone got an original VHS to confirm this? Might be another Mandela effect but I do always remember it as being yellow. Bills Pennywise uses only red balloons, Tims has balloons in all colours in a ton of scenes.
